I had to go back and fix the link because the original one was a dead link. Does anyone wonder what happened to the terror alert level thing? We had that great color coded system that was designed to keep you on edge and make you lose your mind if it creeped up into red. The problem was it never really did anything to stop the successful attacks because no matter what they do there will always be someone somewhere that slips through it.

I did some quick checking and it appears they retired the old color coded thing and I guess no one really noticed:

It recognizes that Americans all share responsibility for the nation's security, and should always be aware of the heightened risk of terrorist attack in the United States and what they should do.

You know, I don’t know if anyone has noticed but once we got ourselves into a pandemic, no one is really talking about plastic straws so much anymore are they? What that tells you is just how much bullshit we fill our world up with, how many fake crisis there are that the media tries to drum up to get us into a state of hysteria and frenzy.

All the problems we have boil down to a very simple thing... we need to stop fucking.

Actually, I should qualify that because I like fucking (although it seems rare these days I actually get a chance to do it), we need to stop having babies and that’s only because humanity as a whole has proven to be a damaging invasive species that is destroying the world’s ecosystem.

You won’t here people talk about that so much though...

Now that’s only over the last 200 years, you think maybe a pandemic is nature’s way of thinning the herd?

This is another one of those things that makes me glad I’m the age I’m at.
